I studied textile design at university but worked in an industry that was unfortunately not creative. Due to illness I found myself becoming self employed and getting back to being creative again. I stumbled across jesmonite on Instagram and after having a play at the material I fell in love and built a business from it.

I love experimenting with colour combinations and different materials - I have recently been adding shells into the mixture. It gives it a real beachy feel and my current favourite product. I put the radio on and just see where it takes me when in my studio and playing around with the different colours and shapes.

The jesmonite is an eco resin which is completely sustainable. I also run on a no waste basis - all pieces left in the jugs or broken pieces, are broken down to little pieces and added to a new mixture to create a ‘terrazzo’ piece - all these are made from left over pieces and so again totally unique and no waste.
