I was constantly making and painting as a child so I didn't really stop! I was always encouraged to be creative into teen and adulthood so it was a very natural thing to do a Fine Art degree. I always wanted to make art for the general public rather than people in the 'art world'. The thought of being in homely, family spaces is definitely my aim rather than fancy galleries!

Being from 'the creative county' and living on the edge of The Potteries has always been a joy. It makes me proud to come from a place with such creative and skilled history!

I use British companies to bring my products to life - eg. my fabric is printed in Derbyshire and I use paper made in the Lake District.

All of my designs are originally watercolour paintings - scanned in to make products. I'm proud to be an old fashioned painter and really respect the craft!
