In August 2021, we were delighted to be visited by the BBC’s Money for Nothing. The reason – a fantastic new addition to our range.
Presented by talented entrepreneur Sarah Moore, the show aims to transform landfill items into saleable pieces. The items are then sold to independent shops and the money is paid back to the owners. Turning trash into treasure is not a bad way to help the planet if you ask us!
After nearly a year of anticipation, we are glad to announce that the episode we featured in was just aired. The show features our lovely owner Laura as she explains why the terrariums fit Handmade Design so well.
As big fans of the show and its creative approach to recycling, we were thrilled to take part! We purchased four beautiful terrarium pieces, lovingly crafted by the skills of artisan, Sarah Moore.
With items this innovative, it is hardly surprising that we sold one on the first day they arrived in store!
Today, there is only one of these treasures left with us. Although we’ll be sad to part with it, we know there’s someone out there who’ll love it even more than we do.
To put it another way, you still have the opportunity to buy this wonderful piece. Costing just £25 you can snap up this terrarium by coming in store right now?
You can’t make it down? No problem! It’s also available to buy online, click here for more information.
Did you miss the show? That’s fine too! Just follow the link to see the full episode here.
At Handmade Designs, we’re really glad to contribute to one of television’s most outside-the-box programs. We even previously featured on the show in April 2021.
