These whisky glass stud earrings are truly unique – rather than the typical Murano glass base, they are made from a Scottish whisky bottle! The bottle is carefully broken and the glass is melted down piece by piece. A hint of gold leaf is then melted onto the front, creating a distinctive and elegant finish.
Handmade in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages.
The backs of these mini glass stud earrings are made from surgical steel, a completely safe and hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.
As they are handmade, the size of glass varies between 4 and 6mm, but is consistent within the pairs.
These earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone.
