A hand finished hanging plaque with well known Derbyshire greeting Ayup Miduck! engraved onto it.
The phrase is laser cut into a painted surface which allows the natural qualities of the wood to show.
If you’re not familiar with Derbyshire slang: ‘ay up’ is a greeting which is said instead of hello and ‘duck’ is a friendly term for another person. This local saying has been used for centuries and is believed to date all the way back to Saxon times.
The plaque is 12cm height x 26cm width x 1.2cm depth
