Ashbourne Shrovetide 2023 A4 Mounted Print
Ashbourne Shrovetide 2023 took place on Shrove Tuesday (21st February) and Ash Wednesday (22nd February) at 2pm.
This annual two day event sees the Up'ards and Down'ards compete against each other, with the Up'ards winning 1-0 this year.
Thousands of people visit the town to watch this unique and intense game!
This A4 sized print features the turn-up of the ball from Shaw Croft car park on the newly constructed plinth.
Drawn by local artist, Lucy Sheeran, the print is a great way to remember this years game.
